Orchard Gymnastics in Yeovil

Orchard Gymnastics

Yeovil & South Somerset’s largest gymnastics club and the only club with a dedicated, pitted facility.

We offer classes for children of all ages in some of the most comprehensive training facilities in the South West, delivered by a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated coaches.

Children of all ages have the opportunity to experience the thrills of training on Sprung Floor, Beams, Bars, Vaults, Tumble tracks, Trampettes, Trampolines and Foam Pits.

General Gymnastics

Classes for children of school age and above are split by a combination of age and ability. Children train on all apparatus, trampolines and foam pits in structured classes led by British Gymnastics qualified adult coaches. Classes last 55 minutes and we have classes every evening and Saturdays at lots of different start times.

Following a paid for trial, monthly training fees are £39.00.

Pre-School Gymnastics classes

Structured parent and toddler classes for ages 2+ using all of the full sized equipment along with specialist pre-school kit, soft play and hand apparatus. Classes last 45 minutes and run on Tuesday & Friday mornings and Thursday afternoon.

Following a paid for trial, monthly fees are £33

Display Squad

Combining acrobatics, tumbling and dance, our Display Squad perform group routines at national events across the country, giving participants the opportunity to display their skills and talents as a team in a fun, friendly and non-competitive environment.

Places in the Display Squad are by invitation only.

Tumbling Squad

Tumbling is a truly breath-taking gymnastics discipline that sees gymnasts combine a series of acrobatic skills along a sprung tumble track. For those gymnasts competent at skills including cartwheels, flicks and somersaults there may be the opportunity to join a squad and work towards regional and national level competitions. Our Tumbling Squads are led by John Murray a High-Performance Coach and FIG Judge.

Squads are by invitation only.

Meet the Team

All Orchard Gymnastics coaches have a wealth of experience and hold British Gymnastics coaching qualifications covering the following gymnastics disciplines: male artistic, female artistic, acrobatics, tumbling, trampolining, freestyle, team gym, pre-school, general gymnastics and double mini tramp.

Amongst the team we have two ‘BG’ tutors / assessors, a former Commonwealth finalist, a GB coach and a coach to countless British, European and World champions. Therefore you can be sure your child will be in the best of hands.
